DEADLY NEWS by Jody Holford

THINK POSITIVE! HUGS!

A new author for me and the first book of a new series. The cover is attractive and invites on to read the book. The mystery is secondary to a romance between Molly Owens and Sam Alderich. Molly has accepted a position as Editor of Britton Bay. She is responsible for bringing the paper back to its former glory. She hits a snag when she asked Vernon to interview a Mrs. Phillips and flesh out his article. Vernon was later found dead and she becomes involved with the investigation. Molly needs answers before she joins Vernon. Molly adopted a stray puppy who figures in the solution. I recommend this book.
