ERIN O’REILLY is a NYPD Patrolman and has eleven years experience. Rolf has been with her for 3 years. Rolf was born in Bavarian He is train to find explosives, search and recuse.  and learn his commands in that lanquage. His attack actions are to grab the shooting arm and bite. There are 3 books out and the fourth one due out soon. I enjoyed the story so much that  read them in 3 days. They remind me of the hardcore detective mysteries of the 80’s but the Protagonist is a woman. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES.

BOOK # 1

My Review

Glancing through a series of suggested books to read, a beautiful German shepherd caught my eye. Reading the synopsis, I learned he is a K-9 dog and his handler is Patrolman Erin O’Reilly of the NYPD. They are working the night shift when the tale begins. Transfer to days Erin visit a bar and meets an art appraiser. He invited her to a major art exhibit. While there, see Erin watched a robbery in progress and becomes involved in attempting to stop it. A follow patrolman is shot and dies in her arms. Erin promised him she would bring the robbers to justice. Erin and Rolf play a major role in finding the gunmen. Erin is suspended as she interfered with the investigation. Will she lose her job and Rolf? I read the book in one setting and started the next book. The story reminded me of the hardcore mysteries of the 80’s, only the protagonist is A WOMAN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.

My Review

The second book in terms series finds Erin O’Reilly has been promoted to a detective. Rolf and she have been assigned to a new unit it forming to handle major crimes. It has personnel from various police sectors. On her first day, the unit has been called to a scene of a car bomb.
