The fifth installment of the Shandra series does not disappoint, it is as good as the previous books. Shandra was in New Mexico for a workshop an exhibition. Carl Lander shows up and shocked Shandra. She had to receive help to enable her to escape from him. Upon returning to Huckleberry Hill she learned that he was discovered dead on the ski runs on the next hill. Ryan is there for her but was off the case as Shandra is to close to him. She quickly becomes a person of interest and the leading suspect in the murder. Ryan learns all the lowdown that Carl manage to snap her self-worth. Ryan is off the case, but he hires a PI in New Mexico to look into what Carl Lander was doing. Tapes of Carl’s relationship with young girls exist. Shandra’s dreams play a part of the answer. I do feel better editing will help the story but I still enjoy the book. I am ready to read #6.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this books and series.
