#THE JANUS STONE By Elly Griffiths

I have been wanting to read the Ruth Galloway series in order for some time. I am delighted that my library has the books. The Janis Stone is the second book in the series. Ruth is called to a construction site because the bones of a small child are found under the doorway of a building being demolished to a set of high raise luxury condos. The head of the child is missing.

Dr Max Grey, from the University of Sussex, an archaeologist and an expert on Roman Britain is handling the affair as there are signs it might be a Roman settlement. DCI Harry Nelson and his team are working the case for the police. Questions that need answers is the building Celtic or Roman? Who was the child? Where is the head? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND SERIES.
