#THE HIDDEN CORPSE by Debra Sennefelder

I feel there must be a generation gap as I didn’t understand the plot but that did not infer with reading the book. This the second book in the series and the first I have read of the Food Blogger series.  I found writing was smooth and easy to read. I felt the characters could use more development. The book started with a fire and ended with another fire.

Hope Early has returned to her home town after a divorce and the failure of a Reality TV show. She has decided to earn her living by a food blogger. She has a romance brewing with the sheriff. She has brought her dog, Bigelow with her. She becomes involved in local politics. She feels responsible for the death of a neighbor and is determined to find the culprit. Will she find an answer before she loses her life in a fire? I recommend this book.

Recipes from Hope’s kitchen are included.

I don’t watch reality TV shows so I probably would have a problem with it too. I’m glad it didn’t keep you from enjoying it.
