Sammy Kane is preparing to meet Jane Johnson, a noted crochet expert who has come to Heartsford, Wisconsin to be the featured artist at the Community annual festival in the second book in this series. Upon arrival, Jane informs her that her best friend Kate accident was not an accident. They agreed to meet shortly. Upon Sammy arrival, she finds Jane murdered, Sammy along with her sister and cousin agree to put S. H. E. in action to find out what happened. When Sammy learned about the tractor accident, she is upset and determined to locate an answer. The romance with Detective Liam Nash continue and he is trying to convince Sammy her impulsive active is causing her harm and tainting the case against the prep. Will he succeed? The ending is surprising. I highly recommend this book and series for those who like a light relaxing reading and various crafts. A recipe for Lasagna and directions for a crochet ripple lap blanket are included. Disclosure: Thanks to Crooked Lane Books for a copy through NetGalley. The opinions expressed are my own.
I like the sound of this one. It sounds like a good diversion makes me wish I crocheted. I only know how to knit.
I knit first than learned to crochet. Many knitting patterns are finished with a role of crochet.
Yes, which can be frustrating if you don’t know how.
