#Let’ Share Coffee/Tea     Hello, Friends   October 25, 2019

Welcome, prefect fall day to sit and watch the birds. There is coffee or herbal tea or English Breakfast tea and some freshly baked cupcakes. We had a lighting, thunder and wind storm last week. The nights are cold and few at 32°F days are reaching 70°F. The view from Tramore is a fall scene taken today.

My age has caught with me and my health has been effect. I going long okay and suddenly I need to set down. Bob health is alsopoor. Our caregiver quit leaving us more stress as the company is trying to get a new one for each of us. The stress is effecting my heart and Bob has a pacemaker.

Caregivers & Assisted Living Home

Betty with her seedlings

There is talk that we go into an assisted living and we both want to stay here as I won’t my meals. We would be in one room. All our income is taken by the home and we would have a small allowances.

The caregivers have been an a problem. We are getting new one maybe each will have one to prevent what has happened in the past.

It has been too much stress on me that my body is saying no. We depend on a caregiver food and transportation.

 Bomjum tree

I gaven away all my plants as I could not care for them properly and it was bothering me to watch them died. However, I haven’t given up completely. I kept the Norfolk Pine to see if I could keep one alive. I might be losing it now. Too much light. To my surprise I found a bomjum tree and I brought it. We became aware of this plant family in Arizona and the southwest US. There are 11 species in the group. The main growth is in Mexico. It is closely related the ocotillo. I think I will buy another orchid next time I am at Fred Meyers.

I am not finding very many mysteries being released this fall. Although I have request and about 1/2 I can’t download, but cannot open them. I am now reading books from my TBR LIST. I JUST FINISHED READING HELEN MacINNES

I am now reading a cozy mystery by Linda Rawlins It is The third one in the Misty Point series.

I haven’t decided on what I will read next. I hope to write reviews on books I have been reading. I read and review. I need to add this to my site. I am still reading about a book a day and almost finished my Goodreads book challenge.

The reviews I added today will be released on Tuesday October 29, 2019. The blog will have posts when I can write them. Wishing all a fun Halloween.
Betty Louise.

I hope you manage to find a kind caregiver who works well with you.

    • I learned the first night I was rehab that a caregiver can hurt doing the simple fact in their care. Seniors are in danger as people want to get their hands on your Social Security. There arE 3 recent cases where the caregivers will be spending a lot of time in prison.qq qa🎃🐦☕🍵👵

  2. lghiggins says:

Nice to join you again for tea and a chat. I’m sorry you continue to have caregiver issues. I hope the next ones will be better and work together well to be able to help you and Bob. The whole thing is so stressful for you and that doesn’t help your health issues. The fall leaves are beautiful in your picture. I hope you will be able to keep a few plants going; I know they are important to you. Have a good weekend, Betty.

    • I hope the new caregivers will be better. Caregivers can hurt, I learn that the first night I was in rehab. It is windy here but sunny and cold. I finely got my rash under control. With the new caregivers maybe I can keep plants alive. It has been almost a year I have kept the NPine alive. 🍵👌🎃👵

  3. Keeping you both in my thoughts and praying you find the perfect caregivers. We’re in the middle of this with my dad. Wishing you all the best, Betty.. It’s nice to hear from you.
