It hard to believe that is already that October. Tuesdays I looked for what new mysteries are released and haven buying a few. I can no longer read printed books including large print. My hearing has gone so that lets out audio-books. I only found 3 mysteries that were released today. I did order a new book Monday by a new author but I find has a 12 book series with a quilting background.

DOUBLE KNIT by Arlene Sachitano

My eye was caught as the cover showed a cat and the book’s background is a knitting; I requested a sample. When I realize the cat is a Bengal, named Fenton, I was hooked. The MC is Permelia, she is a middle-age divorcee who is recovering from the betray by her ex-husband. She has moved from a wheat farm to a large city and moves into an apartment over the morgue. She meets a follower knitter whose husband has been living a double life. The story has many twists and surprises for Permelia as she seeks to find answers. Fenton has a minor role and his actions copy my Bengal cat, Kato. I highly recommend this book and I will read the next book.

ON THE LAMB by Tina Kashiam – I missed this book and currently reading the next one MISTLETOE, MOUSSAKA, MURDER. This series deal with a Greek restaurant one I follow and I highly recommend this series.

THE CHOCOLATE FALCON FRAUD by JoAnna Carl – I have been following this series and I have missed a few and I don’t remember reading this one. MC is a runs a chocolate factory and follows her. The characters have become friends over years. I highly recommend this series.
