It is always a pleasure to read once of Laurien Berenson’s dog stories. The cover is a delight. Frank and Bob have brought a Christmas tree farm that has lain idle for a while. It will need a lot of repairs before it can be open for the season. The family met one day to do the job. They work for some time when they heard a low moaning sound. At the source, they find a homeless man and a Maltese dog. Aunt Peg fosters The dog, Snowball and urged Melanie to look into his background. As Pete’s background emerge Melanie will need her wits to save her life. I highly recommend this book and series.
Disclosure: I received a free copy from Kensington Books through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book. The opinions expressed are my own.

I love the cover. I have read a few from this series here and there, but there are so many, I will never catch up. So glad you are enjoying this series Betty.
It sounds like a good series. There are none available on NetGalley right now. What a cute cover!
When avaiable they get enough reviews, the books are often on NetGalley.
