OPEN AND SHUT By David Rosenfelt

Open and Shut

The first book in the Andy Carpenter series. I learned a lot of the background that I wonder about as I have been the series out of order. After his father’s death Andy finds a picture with his father and 3 other men who he doesn’t recognize. Andy learns of a bank account containing 22 million dollars the his Father never touch. Before his Father died he asked take the appeal in a death account case. Andy’s humor and trials tactics add much to the story. His ex-wife, Niocle and his trial team are the supporting characters as Andy begins to look into the murder in the death and at the same about the picture and why his Father never touch the money. I brought next book. I recommend this series.
