#McCAFFERTY’S NINE By Elizabeth Gunn

PEACE

I have been savoring the Jake Hines police procedural for a long time. I was delighted to find one I haven’t read before the seventh. Jake grew up in Minnesota foster care. He was found in a garbage can as a baby. He is of mixed heritage.

Jake is now a Capitan in the Rutherford Police Department and its winter time. There are two problems that the police department needs to Solve.  Someone is stealing credit cards and buying a large amount of goods. A bicycle villain is grabbing women’s purses. The violence is escalating with each incident. Jake’s sets up a string to catch the party.

His wife, Trudy is about to deliver their first child. This part is very inspiring. Will Jake’s strategy be rewarding with of a winter storm occurring? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND SERIES.
