BE KIND

CROSSING PLACES by Elly Griffiths I have downloaded the first six books of this series. The MC is Ruth Galloway who is an archaeologist who is an is an expert on bones and related affairs. Each book is a stand-a-long but their is a backstory that runs all the books. Ruth becomes in the first book with DCI Nelson. The books follow a group that interacts with each other. I have been wanting to read this series for. a while. I have read 5 of them and started the 6th A DYING FALL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and series.

KILLER COMFORT FOOD by Lynn Cahoon The 6th book in her Farm to Fork mysteries. Angie is fighting to save her Grandmother’s farm from a developer who doesn’t play fair. Angie becomes fearful for pets and she takes everywhere. The search is on DOM with her. Barb’s daughter is missing and Angie and friends spent time looking for her. What will happen to the farm? Is barb’s daughter still alive.

EXERCISED SPIRITS by Alice Duncan The 16th book of the Daisy Gumm mysteries. Regardless of the name this is not paranormal. The main character Daisy earns her living as a spiritualist. The story is set in 1920s’ and follows Daisy and family through the books. Each book can be read alone but as in all series the back story runs through the books. This one Daisy’ Aunt VI disappears and Sam’s nephew escape from jail. He is trying kill Daisy. I am looking forward the 17th book where Daisy is planning her wedding. I highly recommend this series. There no sex or violence in this book.

I’m looking forward to Killer Comfort Food too. I know what you mean about reading what you’ve got before you get more. Sometimes it is so hard to resist new books, especially if you like the author.
