A visit with Mrs. Jefferies and Witherspoon household is always a pleasant and relaxing one. Christmas is closed and members of Inspector Witherspoon household all have special plans for the time. Their plans are disrupted when the Inspector received a murder case. The case has occurred earlier and Inspector Nivens had bungled it. Afraid that they will be able to about their vacations, the members are not really interested in helping the Inspector Witherspoon find the killer. The case has a number of turns before the household residents realize that justice is more important than their holiday plans.
I high!y recommend this book and series.

Disclosure: I received a free copy from Berkeley Publishing through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review this book. The opinions expressed are my own.

I’ve not read any of this series.

I requested this one, but the response is that Berkley currently only accepts reviewers with more than 1,000 followers. Although I understand their position, because they are in the business of selling books and they have some big name authors, I am just not into the numbers game. There are plenty of good books to read without them, but I am happy that you are already on their list.

    • I doubt if I have 1,000 followers. I have 658 on WordPress, another on Tumblr, don’t how m any on Google+, Goodreads just over 250, not sure if NetGalley, Amazon and Linkedin. I get some of Berkeley, not all. I must be on the borderline. I just don’t hear from them. The first time I asked for it I was refused. It was released in October and there were only 3 reviews on NetGalley. I thought why not asked again and I got it and another from Berkeley. The last to e I checked I have 95% rating on NetGalley. While I do keep track on my statistics, I don’t care about them as the reason I do reviews is to give myself something to do. It does keep me in New books, I would be doing re-reads. I agree there are a number of good books to read. My email account has a number every day. Some of the indie writers are as good as Berekely’s.

Ah! I never would have tried asking a second time, but it makes sense. If a book is not getting requested often, then they might change their viewpoint, at least for that particular book. Your awesome 95% rating on NetGalley doesn’t hurt either!
