In the second book of the Berry Basket series is another satisfying read. There is good information on blackberries, wines, animal behavior, police units, and friendship. The antics of the animals lighten the mood of the story. There is faint evidence of the paranormal.
Marlee Jacob is getting ready to handle crowds at the annual 4th of July celebration at Oriole Point, Michigan. The festivities are to honor 100 years of BlackBerry Art School existence. A road rally is planned for the affair. Marlee and Piper need a new start area for the rally. They go to check out an area and Piper’s new puppy gets loose and digs up a skeleton. The twists and turns the story takes will keep you enthralled. Marlee is looking for answers to how Sienna dies before her cook, Theo becomes a victim. Berry recipes are included. I highly recommend this book and series.
