MURDER ON THE HALF SHELL By Shawn Reilly Simmons

Murder on the Half Shell by Shawn Reilly Simmons

Penelope’s Red Carpet Catering company is feeding the crew of Arlena’s new movie. They are on an island off the coast of Florida. The Producer flies a Celebrity Chef Emilio in for Friday’s party. Two teenage girls are missing after the party. The next day it appears that Emilio was involved in their disappearance. Penelope doesn’t believe it and she starts investigating again. I found that I keep turning pages to see what was happening. Penelope must find the answer before there are more deaths. I recommend this series.

Disclosure: I received a free copy from HENERY PRESS through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book. The opinIons are my own.

I like this series. Because the setting is wherever the movie is being filmed, it keeps the plot more varied and probable. I love the little town settings of most cozy mysteries, but after a while you do wonder how the main character can stumble into so many murders.
