In this book, Maddie received a package from Dominique, a close friend living in New York City. It contained a note that informs Maddie the owner is dead if she was reading it. How she received the package is strange. Maddie returns to New York City to help her friend’s son with the funeral. There aren’t secrets that emerge and Maddie learned about a missing set of diamonds. Wearing Dominique’s clothing, Maddie has several versions of her friend’s recent life. She needs to find answers to many questions. Among them are what killed her friend, where are the diamonds, did her friend have a lover, and how did the play her friend was in effect her death? As an answer to these questions soon became apparent, Dominique’s secret life is revealed. I recommend this book and series.
