I needed a light and relaxing read when this book appeared on my shelf. What could be better than a dog story, the cover was charming. While I found a weak point, I cherish the book. Pups is well known as she takes in pregnant dogs until the litter is born and raised the puppies until they are ready to find homes. Andy decided to take a case defending Pups from zoning changes. He succeeds only to confront a murder charge against Pups. As Andy searched for answers he found a deadly reason for seizing land and Pups inheritance. The ending may have you crying so be prepared. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND SERIES.
