The Cat, the Vagabond and the Victim by Leann Sweeney

As always a Cat In Trouble book is a good relaxing read. Jillian and Tom’s relationship continues to grow. More is learned about Candace, Kara, Shawn, and Morris’s backgrounds. Newcomers’ traits are well developed. Birdie Roberts, Lou Ann Rafferty, and Emily Nguyen all caught my attention and I would like to know about them. Julian’s cat’s actions are delightful to read.

CLYDE, a large orange tomcat is a media “darling” has he traveled 200 miles to return to his former home only to alert the neighbors of Norm Jefferey, his owner. Jillian agrees to foster him, but he manages to escape. Candace and Jillian go to Jeffery’s home to find his caregiver dead. Someone keeps trying to steal Clyde. Why is he so important, will they succeed before answers are found.
