Assisted Living May 5

Think Positive!

Good morning, it is overcast with a temperature of 70F and the high will be 74F and with strong winds at times. Breakfast was bacon and I started a Dr Pepper early.

Garden

More plants have buds, The roses are putting on new leaves. I have seen a white butterfly and a hawk fled over the dining room. the iris looked bad last evening. At lunch, new flowers were opened up. There is a hybrid between Siberian and tall-bread iris.

BOOKS

I am now reading WEDDING BELL BLUES by Lynn Cahoon. Jill Gardner and Greg King are planning an engagement Party when Jill goes to up her dress and finds a body. Greg’s investigation of the murder victim causes problems for Jill. I should finish this book today.

Next up is Anne Hillerman’s THE SACRED BRIDGE looking forward to reading I like Anne Hillerman’s books very much. Her fathers are also very excellent.

Lunch

It was 72F and still overcast with a strong wind at times. I ate a green salad, chicken cut up, baby red potatoes diced in small chunks, and there was a cake for dessert.

I am tired easily as my arms are often red and pain is increased. My nights are not restful. My bladder usually wakes me a couple times,

I will publish the post sometime during the day have a restful day and night.

It sounds like the gardens are waking up well, and are great to watch. Our gardens are bright with tulips and daffodils, but not much else yet. I liked Wedding Bell Blues. Have a good day today, Betty.

I need to read Wedding Bell Blues. I missed it on NetGalley, but my library has it. It has really warmed up in Idaho. Enjoy your flowers.
