FALCON AT THE PORTAL By Elizabeth Peters

BE KIND Think Positive!

The Falcon at the Portal( Amelia Peabody, #11)

It has been a while since I read the Peabody series. E. Peters is the only author I brought as soon as they come out. I feel that with this book the series took a major turn Before the series was fun, and light, and exciting to read.
The book is suspenseful and thoughtful. The family is at home in England and finds forgeries purportedly to be sold by David. They set out to clear him. Back in Egypt, they learned that David is selling his Grandfather’s collection. Amelia is really angry as all the rest. As Usual Emerson’s temper has them working at archaeology sites that have no treasures. Ramas is accused of being responsible for the suicide of a wealthy girl. Amelia must find the answer to clear both of their names before havoc destroyed all that is dear to her.
