The first in the series that has the background of the Salem Witches in this paranormal mystery. The descriptions take you to Salem and the historical information is intriguing. Lee Barrett returns home to Salem for a news reporter job. When leaving the station she stumbles on a body in the sea. There is another murder on the same street that evening. Lee accepts a job as a physic on a late-night TV show. Her Aunt adopts the dead woman’s cat, O’Ryan., who has mysterious attributes that perk up the story. I highly recommend this series.
