Bloom and Doom (Bridal Bouquet Shop Mystery #1)

I was fortunate to win a copy in a giveaway. The subject matter is a favorite of mine the language of flowers. In the first of a new series, We find cousins, Audrey and Lib running a floral shop in Ramble, Virginia. They specialized in bridal bouquets. The local newspaper runs a story that none of the marriages that the shop supplied the bouquets had broken up.

Audrey’s school friend, Jenny is planning on marrying. the oldest son of the leading family of the town. Jenny arrives at the shop and cancels the order for flowers and tells Audrey that she is breaking off with Derek.
Later is found dead in his car with Jenny’s bridal bouquet torn apart and covered in blood. Jenny is arrested. Since the police chief feels he has his prep; he is not looking for another solution. Audrey feels must investigate as she knows Jenny is not the killer. Yes, there is even a normal cat named Chester.
This is one series that I plan to follow.
