The Red Book of Primrose House by Marty Wingate An abandon garden and house near town Tunbridge Wells, England is known as Primrose Manor.  Pru Parke has been hired by the owners to restore the garden according to Repton's Red Book.of the garden. Pru is an American in England to locate relatives. She met Simon Parke and he tells her he does't her Mother. On first at the garden Pru meets Robbie, a regard boy, her garden crew of Ted, Feral andLiam.
She meets Jamie Tanner who feels he should have her job. Ned is elderly man and knows a lot about the area. His daughter Cate is married to Tanner, am abusive husband.
Before long minor vandalize occurs in the garden. The police are called but there are no clues to what occurring.  Ned is found dead in the garden and Robbie is accused. Pru's friend Chris Pearse, Chief Inspector from London comes for visits. There are several romance sences. A cozy mystery that will keep your interest throughout the book.  I will read her again.
