CRIMINAL CONFECTIONS By Colette London

Criminal Confections

A fast moving cozy mystery told in first person. I found only a slight plot but the book held my interest most of the time. There is an interesting back story mention at times and I feel we will learn more in later books. The characters need more development. At times I lost interest reading all the chocolate information. Hayden Mundy Moore is an expert on all things pertaining to chocolate. She is consulting with Lamaotre Chocolates And at an all chocolate conference. A friend Adrienne Downing dies of apparent overdose of an ingredient in chocolate manufacture. As the conference continues Hayden asked her boyfriend for help as attacks are made on her life. She must find the answer before the act is successful.

Full Disclosure : I received a free copy from Kinsington Press through Netgalley for a honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review this book. The opinions are my own.
