The Capital is in Boise the best known area. This an early of the captiol. Boise State University is located here and known for its football team Boise Broncos.  As a child I spent a lot of time roaming the halls as there was a collection of birds, animals, plants, rocks and other items of interest. You can’t do that now.

  1. Betty Louise, thank you for this post. I truly enjoyed it. I didn’t know much about Idaho. You made me want to visit. The photos are beautiful as well. I particularly liked the ones of your grandparents.

    • I am annoy when author send someone to Idaho as she doesn’t know much about the state. With the right wing of politics making their home in northern Idaho, the state gets a lot of negative news. Much of the middle part is still wilderness area.

  2. Beautiful scenery, and I loved the picture of the Bluebird.
