A thrilling paranormal mystery set against the background of magical springs and a bookstore where books fly off the shelves to make a point. Violet Waverly rushes home thinking her Grandma Daisy is about to die. Arriving home Violet finds it is a hoax to bring her back home. Her Grandma. needs Violet to become the caretaker of a birch tree growing in the shop and the magical springs. Personal reasons have kept Violet away for 12 years. Grandma Daisy’s boyfriend is found dead in the driveway of Waverly home. The research of the Underground Railway’s history is effective. Violet feels she must find an answer to save Grandma Daisy. Looking forward to the next book.
