ONE FETE IN THE GRAVE By Vicky Fee

Screams filled the air at the conclusion of a successful Fourth of July Event. A woman had just found the body of a town councilman, Bubba Rowland. That day Bubba had several conflicts with various individuals. Liv McKay felt he fixed the Miss Dixie Beauty Pageant so his niece won. Others at the event felt the same way. Liv’s Mother announces her engagement to Earl and he becomes the main suspect in the murder. Liv begins to plan her Mother’s Wedding. The story moves steadily between Liv and Di looking for evidence to clear Earl and life in Dixie. I appreciated that Liv and Di did not do anything foolish to put themselves in danger. I like the information on party planning. The baby shower that announced the sex of the baby is outstanding. Recipes and party tips are included. I highly recommend this book and series.
