THINK POSITIVE! HUGS!
I have long been a fan of this series. I feel it is one of the best dog's series I have read. The author knows poodles and shows and her facts are authentic. She over the course of the series she explains how champions are created. She covers grooming of a poodle for shows and home explained the different cuts. In one book she buying a dog and what things to you need to consider. Her stories all have a mystery that her protagonist is able to solve. Melanie and her family have become friends and I enjoy learning what they are doing. The characters are developed and the secondary tales are interesting. In this book her son is working to get his poodle the final points he needs to earn his dog's championship. Aunt Peg has a young poodle she is starting to show. One of the vendors makes special leashed and Aunt Peg has ordered one. When she goes to pick up the leash, she finds the vendor stabbed with a pallet knife. The next day her murder victim's tenant is missing. Melanie needs to find out if two events are connected? The ending will surprise you. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and series.IDisclosure: Many thanks to Kensington Books for a review copy. The opinions expressed are my own.

My mom loved this series.
I read ist of it from my library
I think the library has most of them.
I know almost nothing about show dogs. I imagine this was especially interesting to you, given your experiences in the field.
My interest was certainly enhance as I knew the information was correct. The mismanagement of animals is a sad situation.
I am glad you are enjoying this series. i have read a few but have gotten behind. Nice review Betty.
The reason I up date with this series is most of them have been on NetGalley. There was one that I got from my library. This more like her early books. This one was on NetGalley and I found after being auto approve. Thanks for the nice comments.
Because I was so far behind, I did not request it. My library also has most of them so I can use it to catch up.
