A WENCH IN THE WORKS by Kate Carlisle

I have read all the books by this author and like them very much. This book # 6 in the Fix-Up series and it does not disappoint. Shannon Hammer is very pleased her Chloe will be back as her Reality show and will film an
episode on one of the Victorian House that Shannon is working Chloe has become the star of the show. The producer of the show selected 2 houses to rehab and doesn't let the owner of the houses know which is selected so she can film their reactions for the show. Chloe and the producer have a shouting argument the day before the Producer is murder at the site Chole and she becomes a person of interest so Shannon works to clear her name. Several attempts are made to hurt or kill Chloe are made and Shannon fears that one of them will succeed. Will Shannon be able to save Chole's life. I highly recommend this book and series. have read all the books by this author and like them very much.

Shouting matches are a bad idea in a cozy mystery. One person ends up murdered and the other end up accused.
