THE BACK CAT BREAKS A MIRROR by Kay Finch

I have all the previous books in this series and like them very much. The fifth book did not disappoint as Sabrina is savoring that her first has been published. Hitchcock’s actions are delightful as always. A mystery person is stay in one of the cabins. The area is preparing for sold concert. there are a number of twists and turns that keep you reading. I highly recommend this book and series.

THE FALCON ALWAYS WINGS TRICE by Donna Andrews

It has been awhile since I made visit to Cearphilly and I have always enjoy the antic of Meg’s family. In this book Meg’s Grandmother, Cordelia is holding a Renaissance Faire at her development. Who should show up but Grandfather to add to story. He takes over the Falcon Display. Their are some good information about Raptors in control hunting. I highly recommend this book and series for a fun relaxing.

THE LAST MRS. SUMMERS by Rhys Bowen

The first book after the wedding and the honeymoon Georgiana and Darcy have taken up residence at Eynsleigh and Queenie is now her cook. Darcy is on secret mission and Georgiana joins her friend Belinda on trip to see the cottage her friend has inherited in Cornwall. While there Belinda becomes a murder suspect. There are a number of twist and turns to keep you turning the pages of relaxing and funny book. I highly recommends this book and series.

JANE DARROWFIELD, PROFESSIONAL BUSYBODY by Barbara Ross

This is the 1st book in a new a series by this author. I always enjoyed her stories and I like the way she has set up the characters for the series. Her used of creative and new ways is much appreciated. Jane meets her new boyfriend on a dating service. The police offer is not involved with murder investigations. Is the prep a good or a bad individual? The characters have varying degrees black and white desires. Jane who takes upon herself to correct wrongs is offered a large sum of money to find out the problems of a senior retirement home. Before the tale ends many events happen. I will read the next book.

PAWS AND ORDER by V.M. Burns

Another excellent Dog stories the 4th book in this series with a poodle background. It covers dog shows in several categories, RV traveling with animals, a cold case with a robbery and a death. Where did the victim gets his money? If you like dogs, I highly recommend this book and series.

All these books are 5 stars in my opinion.
