The third book of the Sophie “Phee” Kimball series is as humorous as the earlier books. I was laughing at the various antics of her Mom’s book club. Phew is settling down on her new job and looking forward to the arrival of the detective she has a crush on. The Senior Center new stage play is to be an Agatha Christie Mousetrap. The book club members tried out for parts and several members will actors including Phee’s Mother. There are many twists and turns as the tale involves. Of course, a dislike actress, the leading lady is found dead in the theater. Phew becomes involved in the investigation as the Book club hires Phee’s form to investigate the murder. I especially like the end. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and series.
