Currently reading THE RITUAL BATH by Faye Kellerman #1 Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus This one of my favorite series. Rina is widow and a jew living in Jewish community. Pete is cop in the Foothills division is called to handle a rape in the Jewish community. He runs into Jewish laws and Rina tries to help him. Some of my favorites are listed below. DEATH BY EQUINE by Annette Dashofy #1 5+stars. . I am a fan of of the author, but a fan of horses and I couldn’t put the book down as I wanted to know what was happening. The MC is a veterinarian who has agreed to handle another veterinarian practice for 2 weeks. Arriving at emergency call she finds the vet dead by a horse. Believing that the vet knew how to handle a horse. The authorities called an accident. Jesse starts to investigate and the twist and turns the story take will hold your attention until the end.
PEACHES AND SCHEMES by Anna Gerard # 5 star The third is an great addition to the series. Nina is thinking about adding weddings for her B&B. At wedding show instead of flowers out come the conference leader dead. Nina gets involve in the case , along with Harry Wescott to add humor.
DEADLY OVER AFTER by Eva Gates #8 – 5 stars Lucy is celebrating her engagement to Connor. Her former boyfriend’s Mother arrives at the party and tries to get Lucy to go back to her son. Her husband also arrives and is murder. This book has many sudden changes and ending is a surprise.
A TRAIL OF LIES by Kylie Logan # 3 – 5 star Another author I enjoy. I like the changes made very much. The different kinds of are explore but the mystery is important. Jassy receives a call in the night from Nick’s Mother’s, Kim saying Nick is dead in her backyard. She takes her young cavador dog and finds no one on arrival their is no body, yet Kim insists there is a body and she stabbed him. On probing the incident, Jessy finds the story leads back to a murder. The ending will surprise you.
LADY RIGHTS A WRONG by Eliza Casey #2 – 5 stars A good Victorian novel. Jack a cat has a minor role in the series. Danby Hall is awaiting the announced of Annabel to Patrick. Lady Cecilia against her mother’s feelings is very interest in suffrage for women. The leader of the group is speaking is found dead. Lady Cecilia with the aide of Jane, Annabel’s maid work to the correct answer. A nice relaxing read.
DEADLY CHAPTER by Essie Lang #3 – 5 stars Shelby Cox a bookseller finds a body in the water lodged between her houseboat and the next one. She feel responsible to find his murderer. She needs to find a woman who moved to the area 5 years. Her boyfriend tells he has been offered a job that takes to Boston and asked her to move with. Shelby’s Mother appears in main bookstore. This gives her three serious matter to resolve. She learns she has 2 half siblings. These subplots plots are brought together nicely.

Betty, is this a new Annette Dashofy series? You have a few I haven’t read or listened to yet, but I am glad to see the 5 stars.
Betty, I very much want to read this book. It sounds as good as her other series. It’s not likely that the library in my little town will have it, but Kindle is a choice as well as waiting until later in the year if my new home pans out. I’ve already spotted library signs in the new city!
