Today Let’s Look at Lupines Species

Think Positive!

The various types of lupines caught my eye as was learning the difference between the flowers of penstemon. The lupine leaf informs at one with a large fan leaf. Lupine has a bad name as some species are poisonous to cattle and they grow in areas where cattle roam. Gardeners love them which sets a conflict between the 2groups.

Grown from seed collected from Washinton state to blooming.
