Wedding Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke

The seconds pass by slowly, at least, it seemed to Hannah and Michelle as the commentator for the Food Challenge slowly announced placements of the first night’s, Desert contest. They are jubilant as Hannah is announced the winner. They are going back to Lake Eden for the rest of the contest. Hannah is preparing for her wedding to Ross Barton the day after her contest is completed. Hannah’s mother has turned the wedding into a major social event. Amid this turmoil, the head judge is murdered and Hannah wants to find his killer before the wedding. The are suburb desserts recipes including Hannah Rainbow Wedding Cake. How are Mike and Russ coping with Hannah’s decision? Will Hannah actually marry Ross? The “Love Triangle” keep me reading until the end.

Disclosure: I received a free copy from Kensington Books through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book. The opinions are my own.

I have only read one from this author. I know she has a big following, but I felt like she spent too long on the daily interactions of the characters and not enough on the mystery. Your review is good!
