Kato and stool
Kato like to lay on afghan I made for my mother in 1955

Good afternoon it is 34F out and it is supposed to be up to 38F better than 17F this morning. Water on the blades was frozen. It looks like Jack frost came by. This morning I spent some time trying through to our Costo account.

Kato was a tease. He found a victim with Bob who doesn’t like being teased. Kato wanted to lay one booster. Finally, after a while, Bob brought another to use. Kato wanted one. We all know who won the game. He was trying it on is this position on his new tree.

The aid who brought my meds last two days. His name is Nash. He behaving him is himself so I won’t made fuss. He just came in to take blood pressure. My lunch was ground hamburger that cream sauce in which it. The other was 1/2 plate of zucchini. Dessert was pineapple upside cake. The pineapple was good to taste.

The afternoon was quiet and I manage to read for a while. Dinner was a mess. Someone doctor my food with hot pepper and lemon in my tea. I am back in my room

Kato sleeping on his prize.

Great pictures of Kato. I’m sorry they didn’t prepare your dinner the way you like it, but happy that the man bring your meds is being nicer. It’s hard to have to depend on others. We treasure our independence.

    • You lost it with ASLiving.

That is what I saw with my mother when she went into Assisted Living; losing so much of her independence and having to rely on others for her basic needs was difficult. It makes me more mindful of doing everything I can for myself while I can. I empathize with your struggles.
