Think Positive!

Betty studying P albomargintus

Good morning it is overcast with a temperature of 50F, rain later tonight. Sleep did come last night. It was 4:00am before went to sleep and awoke at 7:00am and was still not able to sleep. A dark cloud appear as I closed the blind.

I have an instant pot so I make some hot tea the water heat to boiling in a short time. It is nice to be able to have hot water and a few minutes. Start the pot for another cup of hot tea.

There is a huge gap between what I was taught in school and what is being taught now. With my science background, I did some substitute teaching in the Yuma and California schools. I found I couldn’t teach what was being taught now. The caregivers don’t where wheat is found. It is almost time for lunch. The menu foods list on my plate should be fine.

Lunch

Back from to my room, Several ladies are white pants. I wonder if gain enough to mine. to wear my mine. Bob is letting his hair grow. It seems to be coming nicely and pure white. He is still getting too much coffee. It is overcast and deadly, 55F out. I eat the salad, and there was a nice pork roast and green beans. The dessert was blueberry cake. I have been drinking hot tea most of the mornings.

I am still reading BATTER OFF DEAD by Maddie Day. I don’t know what book I will start today. This afternoon was spent playing spider solitaire and reading. Now It is near dinner and looks like I may have a good meal.

Dinner

Dinner was not very good first the Russian aide who does not under English select a herb tea Wild sweet orange was extremely strong and not very tasteful. Then the staff forgot me and the things that I could eat. I dread going to dinner as I don’t know what will happen.

My plate when it arrive had sloppy joe without the bun, and cucumber salad. I am back in my room now. The first thing I started was my electric teapot. The tea is cooling down so I can drink it. Bob had soup but I skipped it. Two bananas came back to my room with me. The dessert was chocolate pudding.

So another day has passed so Good Night and a fantastic evening. Be Safe!

I find Orange tea is often strong and bitter, so I understand that, Betty. I hope you are enjoying Maddy Day’s book. I have it coming up soon. I hope you have a good day today, Happy Sunday.

It sounds like your day had its ups and downs. I agree with your criticism of education today. You have to wonder what they are teaching. Definitely not what they need to know. I’m reading Batter Off Dead now too. I missed the last few in the series, but it was easy to catch up with the characters. I’m glad you are getting comfort in your room with your teapot. Tea is a good thing!
