Assisted Living March 28

Think Positive!

Seedlings and Betty

Good morning the day has started out very well. The sun is shining with a temperature of 45F and possible showers later today. I had my shower and the Bobed changed, hot tea is cooling so I can drink it, a banana for breakfast.

The inside of my left hip is hurting this morning and my body is showing that I am still getting that something disagrees with me.

The picture shows me and my seedling plants. You can see I am in over my head. This has been one of my quirks all my life. My father didn’t succeed in teaching me to not want everything I see, though he tried.

Bob is doing fairly well. Andrea will give him a shower and change his bedding today. He is complaining that his knees are hurting. This has been with him for a long time. We have separate rooms but next door to each other.

Books

I have finished reading WHAT THE DRAGGED IN by Miranda James. Overdrive has a lot of books. It will take a while to understand how it works. I borrowed a cozy mystery from a new author Hannah Dennison to me. DEATH AT HIGH TIDE. I started it last night and I will finish it. I look at Amanda Flower’s new book MUMS AND MAYHEM. It seems I have borrowed it so I will read it next. I have 14 days to read them. They all can be read with a Kindle or Browser. I can borrow 10 books at a time.

Lunch

Good afternoon it’s partly cloudy out with a temperature of 63F, the clouds are thunderstorms. There is a strong wind that started during lunch. My plate was scrambled eggs and peas and carrots. I also eat a salad of green. hot tea and an ice bowl of vanilla. Bob’s plate had Lasagna and peas and carrots. He was indicating he has pain in one shoulder. I was wheeled back to my room. A squirrel was on the grass and appeared to eat something from the grass. Now am going to Overdrive to find the two books I have borrowed.

Dinner

I am back in my room. Dinner was okay, the plate had 5 meatballs on it and peas and carrots mixed. The dessert was chocolate pudding. Bob had the same with the main dish. He is still getting too much coffee. The garden looks like it is coming along. The rose plant has new leaves like some of the trees.

I spent the afternoon on Overdrive reading MUMS AND MAYHEMS by Amanda Flower. There was a kindle you can read the books on which Kindel I no longer have.

Goodnight and have a stress-free evening
